Which B2B skills most transfer from retail sales, especially to stand out for recruiters in resumes?I'm trying to find a new avenue in sales because I'm clearly burning out, and my entire family feels it. I believe when your family tells you you're not acting the same, you would take it as a serious to sign to change things.

The ones that pop for recruiters are discovery (asking good questions), relationship building, objection handling, closing, working to targets, and comfort with systems (POS/CRM). On your resume, translate your wins into B2B language and numbers: conversion rate, average ticket size, upsell/attach, repeat customer rate, and any examples of handling more complex or higher‑value customers

I wouldn’t even worry about that. Focus on what those retail sales positions are asking for and then figure out which skills to include. Unless you are hitting the keywords, you’ll get passed over.

“Job hopper” and “quiet quitting” are all schemes made up by boomers to make you think everything is the employees fault. When in reality people are just getting out of bad situations. Older companies do whatever they can to pay you the least amount and get the max work out of you.
