I live in Delaware too. My advise would be to keep saving up then move to a lower cost of living. All things considered, Delaware is already pretty cheap

This methodology is terrible, 2 year old income data adjusted by the inflation we've had the last 2 years, means these are not actually anyone's income numbers, it's all made up.
"The 1% thresholds are based on individual tax return data processed by the Internal Revenue Service in 2022, which has been adjusted by GOBankingRates to reflect 2024 dollar values."
I’m in Columbus, Ohio. Most articles say the income threshold is near 500k. This article says 600. I think the math is bad.
