So, recently got put on a PIP after six months at my new job., two days after I told my boss and HR I recently learned I have a cognitive disability caused by an illness. The PIP was mostly because I forgot some deadlines, but also they said I need to be more professional in emails (even though others use zero punctuation and a lot of emojis. To clients.) and simultaneously ask more questions and ask fewer questions. Should I just assume this is unattainable and look for a new job again?

I’m job searching right now and applied for a job I was a little overqualified for just to shoot my shot and get my foot in the door with a great brand. The hiring mgr took the time to email me to tell me I was overqualified and offered to help me get connected to his network. He’s been so kind and helpful and I’m kind of in shock at his generosity. My title is technically Marketing Lead but I want to put Head of Marketing on my LinkedIn etc. I think of these titles as totally interchangeable—I just like the way the second one reads better. I know titles don’t really matter, but I’m battling a little bit of imposter syndrome.
