I have completed HR discussion round they were asking about my LWD..I said it is officially 90 days.. so should I discuss with my present company manager about LWD before or after getting offer letter
PS: I will be released early as I am sitting idle in the project..one guy in the project got early release.

Linkedin is an extremely toxic place tbh. apart from copy-pasta fake influencers (most part of the feed is filled with unoriginal content posted by people trying to sound cool/wise/saint) there are some from big companies pretending to be humble and how much they help others but in reality when you do text them, they do not have the basic courtesy to respond. i’ve seen some. there’s this guy from atlassian who keeps praising himself 4 times a day, brags about his number of followers bc how much he helps others with referrals. i personally had texted him in past for referral which he left on seen(it was exactly in the format he expected to be with proper details). and then in one of his posts i saw many people asking him in the comments that they have msged him but he never responds.
I’m appalled by the self-absorbed tendencies and narcissistic behaviour in people these days spcly who somehow get into good companies. instead of being grateful and humble, they start to think of themselves as some gods and it’s visible from their behaviour.
I too removed him from my connections after repeated narcissistic posts

Most of the times, people don't even reply if you ask for referal. I pinged many HR saying, the job fits my role and I have applied. But they don't care. Even I asked manager level, they also don't care, but in post says that "we should help others".

Every big tech nibba and nibbi are YouTubers, taking 1cr+ salary interviews which are with RSU and hence not factual. Sell their own courses or sell other's courses online and then start writing influencer posts on LinkedIn to sell even more.
I agree, 95% of content there is not to help others but to gain likes and get visibility. Very very few people who are helping and share knowledge.

There are gyanis giving interviews and making YouTube videos like they are now career coach 😂😂. You will not find anything useful. Only self promotion. LinkedIn pe to BC haga hua hai in logo ne.. Few are from my company also.

Why to look for people who think like us? Isn't it looking for a validation we aee right? Similarly humans always want to show they good or right and look for validation. Linkedin is a social platform and so such people. Ay exist just liek fishbowl.
Its the same with any other social media platforms, the thing is you just have to look for the helpful posts and ignore the rubbish. The more popular the platform the more shit will be posted on it and with the huge population in India thats bound to happen. Qunatity increases and quality decreases, just try to filter out whats useful.

LinkedIn been like that since last few years. I deactivated my account , nothing useful. I feel this fishbowl app is way better.
There are many people who post about some kind of self help type gyaan with a completely unrelated photograph of themselves. Not sure what to make of it.

See, every platform is turned into creator-consumer form. On LinkedIn, every post you see has a motive to better the engagement and increase followers count to get the next big sponsorship. Every creator is catering to that also, as a result we get to see the pattern where every other post is designed to garner more engagement.
There are three options, you either start creating such contents, you silently keep on consuming such contents, you quit using LinkedIn!
Suppose the next day, people like us start getting some monetary rewards using fishbowl, you will see flood of such posts here also!
The last line hits hard!! That's true. Hoping fishbowl doesn't implement that monetary benefits
