My first manager! We clicked instantly and I found her really inspiring. She climbed the ladder but always stayed true to herself. Called out BS where she saw it and wasn’t afraid to stand up to leadership. It was very refreshing but reassuring knowing I can still be myself and be successful
My director from my previous role. He’s a great mentor and surgeon who loves to teach .
I had a boss early on who took things seriously and sincerely cared about people on the team and what they were thinking and working on. Having someone who took an interest in my work was encouraging, and I always feel like it got me off to a good start. In a funny way I feel like I was spoiled, managers I've had since seem disappointing by comparison.
I actually don’t have a mentor cause no one I know personally is in the position I want to be in.
I've never had someone I would call a mentor. I have received great advice from older coworkers in the past, but nothing formal or long-term. I don't think it has held me back any.
