I’m currently in a lease admin type role, in commercial real estate. I make a base salary of $50.5K with about $9k in bonuses. I’ve continuously received 7-10% raises over the last 3 years. I anticipate getting a promotion this year and would like to get closer to $60k for my base salary. I’m the only person in my role at the company and have been a key person in developing our team as we look to expand. Is this unreasonable? Is there a normal increase given with promotions? I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? Should I hold out for the offer or is 1+ week a sign that I won’t be selected?

Hypothetically, if BBB was delayed and brought to the Senate floor next year (let's say February 2022) and passed, and the January 1st date for ending Roth conversions is left unchanged, what would happen to Americans who performed After-Tax 401k to Roth conversions in January? Would 401k custodians have to reverse the transactions and somehow factor in gains earned in users' Roth accounts since the conversion? Could there be penalties?
