Greater volume means lower spreads, which is good for active traders.

If you’re a buy-and-hold investor, SPY is only preferable if you get off on higher expense ratios. 🤷‍♂️

What covered call strategy works best for y’all in this bear market? How many years out, strike price diff , etc? What ones have you seen success with lately for spy?

I sell weeklies 2 weeks out. If the trend is strongly up I sell a strike at .2 Delta. If the trend is slower I sell a strike roughly .3.

If you’re hoping to find a housing deal, you’re out of luck in the short term.
Maybe if you can deal with the higher payments for the next 3 years and sell/refinance above today’s prices you’ll be ok, but this isn’t going to be pretty.

It’s been an interesting 24 hours. So, you know I got out of the VIX Puts at 26 with a small loss. I bought a few DIA July 15 calls at the low at a 309 strike .13 so I did better than I would. Trading the technicals now with DIA and C Puts.
