Incoming new weekend beater…👑🐢

Thoughts on a Omega De Ville Prestige as a first luxury watch? Would be ~$7.5K USD at retail. Some friends have said great things about Omega as a starter, whereas others say it’s not worth it over a Rolex Oyster Perpetual (which would be similar in cost).
I personally love how clean the design is, the use of gold, and the thinner band as it links the watch … find the Rolex band design to be too chunky.

Love it. I have a speedy and would be thrilled to get one or a few of these to tool around in.
I have had the Mars (red/ white) for a while and it gets quite a bit of wrist time, it’s a fun watch. You should already plan to swap the strap though, the one it ships with is horrible.
Already ordered a new strap when I ordered the watch.

I wear mine regularly.
Wearing a Pluto right now
I’ve got half a dozen. They’re fun and make for good travel watches.
I wasn’t a fan of the standard Velcro bands they come on and swapped them with some cheap woven Amazon bands (get the ones that let you remove the spring bars without a tool…)
I have the Jupiter, fun watch

I love my Neptune! Agree every watch should be on the silicone strap.

Too bad she didn’t get Uranus
Hey guys - I’m not careful with my wrists and unlike sapphire these get fairly scratched up (still worth it, I love how light it is) Is there a fix to this? Can I just take it to swatch to replace the part or can it be buffed out?
