How do you guys think about placing limits on your watch collection?

Protocol for responding (or not) to unsolicited emails from recruiters to your work email? In other words, is it acceptable to just ignore without a response? Or do you prefer to keep the line open with a brief “thanks for thinking of me, I am not interested at this time but hope we can collaborate in the future.”

I was approached on LinkedIn for an early career recruiting role in DFW, TX. I don't have direct experience, but I have the university experience/connections from working in career services. This is the first time I've considered work outside of higher education. I said my salary expectations are minimum $90k and that didn't seem to be an issue. Am I asking too little, too much? I'm working in the US under H1B, I got a chance to face an interview for another company. My current company started the PERM application also and results will be out within the next 3 months. Is it okay to transfer my H1B to a new company? Can my H1B transfer be denied? How long is too long to try to push back a start date? Getting a formal offer early next week but trying to keep that big law bonus if possible. Firm pays out bonuses Dec 30 & I have a vacation scheduled Dec 19-23 (and was planning on working remotely the week after too). Ideally want to get EOY bonus or negotiate for a signing bonus but is it too much to push for signing bonus and those weeks off? I'm open to working remotely those two weeks but know that may not be the best when I start.

It is true that in service based consultings the learning curve will be better coz we'll get to work on a lot of projects compared to a captive organisation ?
