I put in my two weeks this past Friday, was told by project leadership to not let client counterparts know until I get the green light so that they can have a plan of action prior to letting them all know. On Tuesday I setup another meeting to see where they’re at, still nothing. Here we are I’ve got a week left client still doesn’t know and I’m gettin pulled into things left right and center. Any tips on how to handle this situation?

Started work at Accenture a month ago. I was interviewing for McKinsey at the same time and have just now got an offer. I want to leave Accenture. But will it show up on my Background check that I left? I never had Accenture on my resume to start with so not planning on putting it down. Assuming HireRight will be used for the background check.

Biggest regret from your time in consulting ?

Have new analyst on the team with an MBA and project experience. After working with them for 2 months it’s apparent that there are 0 consulting skills (excel, outlook, PowerPoint) and they freeze up even on internal calls. They are young and coachable, and I offered to put time into that. However at a company event they made no effort to get to know the team and chose to stick to their familiar colleagues in their home office. I’d like to ask for a new resource but interested in feedback.
