Nope
Of course. Most recent U.S. national elections have been very close. This one will not likely be much different, which is what the current polls indicate, for whatever that’s worth.
Absolutely. It's still Donald Trump. He may have an adoring following, but normal people across the country can't stand him and have had more than enough of his chaos. If it wasn't for the electoral college it wouldn't even be close. It'll just come down to turnout in the swing states, blah blah blah.
If Michelle Obama or Gavin newsom run, then yes. Otherwise prob not
Big Mike doesn’t want it and you can’t pass over Kamala for a white guy.
Nah, I think it's a lost cause at this point. Even if they try to throw in Gavin Newsom, I don't think a new democratic candidate can drum up as much support and enthusiasm as Trump supporters have for their candidate.
I’m betting against Trump, but that’s only because he is a horrible person.
Considering the average US citizen has the education of a 5th grader eh I doubt it.
That's exactly why Biden won last time. I hope after 4 years, the average person has the education of a 9th grader and votes Red.
I’ll be real candid… I’ve been a solid Democrat for a decade (voter, donor, volunteer), and I’m going Republican this year
The polls and election markets are also no bueno for blue team
It’s been a slow roll, but a few things:
- complete malfeasance on immigration
- the gaslighting of the American electorate over Biden’s health and fitness to run
- the way the national Democratic Party condescends upon everyone outside of NY/CA; if you ask folks who work in the GA Democratic Party they can share this firsthand
- the continued Democratic push for gun control
- Republicans dropping the anti LGBT and abortion points from their national platform
- the incestuous relationship between the media, universities, and Democrats that stands in the way of good science
- the tolerance anti-Semitism and hatred towards Jews
- completely ignoring public safety and demonizing law enforcement
- the inability of Democrats to build anything for climate action while Republican states lead the charge in wind/solar/nuclear, EV manufacturing, and heavy rail construction
I’m not by any means in full agreement with the Republican platform. There’s a lot I don’t like. But I have genuinely gone from “Trump is the worst thing for America” to “I may vote for him”
Full disclaimer, I am temporarily living in a blue state in New England. Part of this is simply spite. I have endured FAR more discrimination for my race and Georgian heritage than I ever did in Georgia (which was zero). Democrats in New England are exceedingly racist against minorities in everyday life to the point it’s actually shocking. I have *never* felt lesser talking to someone in Georgia.
OP I don't know what to say at this point. I want to say yes but with this current candidate I just do not know. I really think the Democrats would be better off pulling Joe Biden from the race and replacing him with someone else. Its clear that neither of these candidates are capable of being a good president.
For all his flaws, he still seems to poll as well or better than any of the proposed alternatives. People want to believe switching candidates would help, but Biden could be comatose and I’m not sure the actual vote would change much.
If someone other than Biden is the candidate, then absolutely.
The only possible chance the Democrats have is if Biden drops out soon or they wise up and select someone else at the convention. But Biden cannot win, even with Trumps awful speech last night, Biden still only has about a five percent chance of winning. All of the swing states and at least two blue states are swinging for Trump. Biden cannot make up the distance.
I hope so
Americans are so shortsighted with their politics. They think the world will end every 4 years and never think to the long term future. If I lead the democrat party, I’d let Trump win and put up Kamala Harris who thinks she’s entitled to be next in line so when she fails, the party can ignore her for someone like AOC or Newsome.
Why? There is no next Trump. He’s unique, a unicorn. Everyone else is a knock off that will expend all their energy trying to be him and after 4 years he’s gone and things can get back to “normal.”
I’d do something if I ran the Republican Party too.

Why would anyone want that? Trumps policies are good for economy, average worker employment, safety and he will keep us laughing too!
Based on the numbers, that’s the county rn
