Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

RUN from Citi. They are doing a re-org right now.
Yeah thats what I feel that there may be new roles posted in 1q next year .. as per my boss and colleagues citi has issues and tech is behind JP but I also feel it would provide a more challenging role where you can perhaps move a needle ( although very difficult as a single contributor in a big bank)
I worked at both. JP Morgan pays better and the technology is more advance. Citi has archaic processes and lower pay, but more advancement opportunities and better culture depending on team.
Wouldnt better culture trump tech ?
Not the best time to go to Citi, for sure! Anywhere that's in the midst of a reorganization is going to be a dangerous choice, so it's really good you're asking around first!
I worked at Citi previous to my role at JPM and JPM is leaps and bounds better than Citi, personally I found that you are heard more at Chase, your ideas actually hold value and people do something about it. The culture at Citi was terrible for me.
I think you're gonna get mixed reviews because they're a lot alike. I've worked at both. Citi is far more matrixed and complicated (hence the impending reorg) but it's got a good culture and, for me, the pay was significantly better. Chase/JPM is a more mature org but has the typical good Ole boy culture. They both like to make people do more work with less resources, communication is non existent. I felt like my voice was heard at Citi but nobody wanted to change and I didn't even have a voice at Chase/JPM. Most people in my area bounce back and forth between the two in order to get upward mobility and more pay.
