During this pandemic I:
-Was put on a reduced work week
-Lost my role due to reduced scope and had to change roles
- Transition to a new role/team/skill sets
-Accepted an offer for a new role that pays more, in a growing field in something that I like!

Bottom line: Keep going forward, don’t give up. It’s possible to further your careers during the pandemic. You can do it!!!

I am currently working as an Consultant in OT. I have an offer from PwC as an Experienced Associate role for core OCM profile. Not sure if this is a good career move because I am moving as an EA there, but the pay is good and i will also get to learn about change management, which I don't have much experience in. Any thoughts about going for an EA role (with lots of scope for learning) from being a consultant in Deloitte OT (where learning is basically zero)?

Is it worth it to go from a staff 2 position in PA to a staff accounting position in industry? It feels like a step off from the rapid PA growth but I’ve always wanted to be a part of this specific industry company.

I recently received another offer for a tiny startup consultanting firm as a machine learning consultant Tc115. Is it worth reneging my offer? Hopefully, I haven’t screwed myself over..so I get a call for a job and they initially offer $62k with a $1000 sign on bonus, I countered at 65k bc I knew I deserve more pay but I was afraid to actually ask for much more than that.
