What the best material to improve investment team know how on the job and why? CFA, Wallstreetprep, CAIA, Corporate Finance Institute,…?

Any CAIA holders out there? How have you generally been viewed?

Anyone on the distribution side of private funds ? Currently at a liquid alternative 40act fund and working on my CAIA. I was wondering how difficult the jump is to the other side. Any context would be helpful!

Currently have the FRM title.
I failed CFA level 3 once.

I'm hoping to eventually do CAIA, but only after I'm done with CFA. I'm also hoping to do non-financial certifications, like Certified analytics professional (CAP), and learn about web development.

While I may have the title of manager, I am still an individual contributor. The type of work I do involves quantitative analysis/data analysis/science.

Any suggestions as to what I should start with?

I do institutional sales for an asset manager. Am graduating in the fall with an MBA from a top 40 school. Would like a designation but dont want to do the CFA.  Between the CAIA and CMT: which one is more applicable to asset management, and better status/recognition? appreciate any insight

Tip for anyone taking the CAIA exam, get UpperMark. Was using willey and was abt 1/2 complete and borrowed a friends test bank … night and day much harder and honestly was more like what I expected

Thoughts on CAIA? Difficulty, hours studied, study tips, overall experiences, etc.? I’ll be sitting for Level 1 in September. Currently work in the fund of funds space - moving over to my firm’s hedge fund research team soon so CAIA seemed like a perfect way to get knowledge in the area beforehand.
