Certification, yes. Degree, no. A degree is a lot of time and resources, and it’s also a commitment if you are still working. If it were a guaranteed leg up, I would, but I don’t see it for myself currently.

Ahhh that makes sense
I wouldn't. I spent forever paying off my student loans. I'm never going to voluntarily carry that burden again. The only way it'd happen is if my employer covered all of it, and even then I'd have hesitations because I'm busy enough as is just trying to manage work, parenting and homeownership.

That’s very true. It’s already hard handling the job as is and adding work on top of that is mind boggling
I would only do it if I think it can really propel my career forward. As of right now it wouldn't help too much.
Yes in my industry of digital marketing it is important to stay updated and learn what is happening in industry as well as sharpen skill sets. I believe it also depends on your role or industry. It is never too late to get a degree or certification.
