Would you go back to a job if your former boss gaslighted you isn't there anymore, but the other manager you can't stand is still there? I was offered my old job back and asked to give the company another chance. I think my former boss was fired for the way he treated me and cut my hours because of my dr appts and legally he cant do that and I told HR about that and everything else. I hope he got fired for that. I am unsure of what to do. Any imput, please? Thanks,

Do you want the job? Do you generally like the company? It's nice that you know what to expect, and they asked for you, so you might be able to negotiate, so everything depends on what you want.

I dont think anything will change there. I am going to look elsewhere. Thanks.

Depends on how desperate you are for a job. In this job market I would probably go back, but keep my eyes open for something better to come along

like

Yeah in this case, no way! Why bother to go back to a toxic environment if you have other options?

It sounds like the company wants you back. If you don’t have another job lined up, why not? Money is always good. If you have another job that you like, then why would you go back?

How to apply for this job ?

Do you want to work there? You can.lol.🤣🤣🤣❗️🤣🤣

There are alot of factors to consider:

1) Wage- Would you be getting the same one ss before?

2) Market- Consider how the market is, it may not be a bad idea but continue to look for something else.

3) Hours- Are they going to give you the same hours back?

4) Distance- How far is it from your residence?

5) Do you want to go back?

I got a new job so I dont have to go back to that h@ll hole.lol

I would ask myself how badly I needed that job at this time, and go from there. Not many places out there where I’ve liked all my managers, but there’s a difference between general distaste and cannot work with them for long.

Thanks

Right now how the jobs are id take my old job back in a heart beat. But than again I loved my last job even though I would every single day get screamed at in several different languages and watched something much B's and favoritism by management and what not. I literally got fired cause I hit my vape inside when everyone else does. Like 4 days after we reopened after being closed for 4 months. Still would give ve my left arm to go back.

I even begged for my job back after I had been gone awhile. And was still told no there not hiring people who used to work there even though I've lost everything literally and can't find anything.

I’m sure others have considered this, I really feel burned out on my specific subspecialty. For the most part I do interventional pain management. I’m having a hard time understanding the salary /TC ranges for mid- to senior-level strategy positions in the Denver area (10-15 YOE). They seem to vary a lot, and are broadly low vs. other markets (mid $100k-low $200k vs TC closer to $300-$400k+ on the coasts). Any observations? Which companies would you look at for more substantial comp outside consulting?

Check the overtime laws for your state!!

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.
