Joined TCS 2 yrs back as IT Analyst , previously worked in Infosys for 4 yrs , so total YOE is 6 yrs .

But i want to do executive MBA ( 1 Year Full Time ) now , as i want to move to a managerial role .

My question is are there any tie ups with TCS and MBA colleges through which I can accomplish this , as I don't want to leave Job ?

If this is possible , whom to contact and what is the process ?

Also how much salary will increase after i do TCS sponsored MBA ?

Lately I’ve been feeling pay by bracket policy is very counter productive. When I came from my prev company, I had salary at the higher bracket due to market correction and novartis offer coinciding. Now after a couple of years, I see that people who were hired before or after me on a lower package have somewhat similar package as me cause of the pay brackets despite me performing better. Curious to understand typical tech Sales Exec comp structure. What is the typical mix of base and commission in SaaS? Also, how is commission calculated - % of revenue, attainment of quota, etc. Sort of assuming it is a % of revenue with a multiplier tied to quota attainment, possibly with a kicker for cash.

I’m in EY Cyber (Canada) and I keep getting audit-like projects. Actually, projects that should be under the Tech Risk team and not cyber as it’s pure “technology risk” audits.(Think SOX, ITGC; OE…) - not even NIST CSF assessments, pure audit.
I have a technical background and was promised technical work when I applied and did the interview rounds.
Why is this happening? Anyone else having the same issue? Is it a big4 issue? I think I’ll quit. I hate audit.

4YOE in consulting got shafted on promo to M with pay. Would you take a 7.5% raise to a startup company with 15% bonus (upwards of 30% for high performers which at Big4 been rated consistently high) plus stock. They mentioned they may have an additional increase start of CY and in process of growing out whole new org so potential to really accelerate into strong leadership roles. Just at point where I feel under appreciated and want to try something new.

Analyst here at a firm that begins with A. Got an offer with a research lab doing cyber/ ISSO stuff. Pays more than a make now and more than I’d make until I hit senior consultant or manager even. Growth however I think is slower but I’d be doing more technical work. Worth leaving consulting for this?

After talking with some friends, looks like cyber is shifting in the industries. Focus now is more on technical skills and less on management. It makes sense in some ways, if you had the budget for only one guy, companies will take the technical guy over the nontechnical.
