Yes heck yes
It also depends on the relative pay increase. For example, is it like 100K to 200K or like 2M to 2.1M? The first one would be a definite yes, the second would probably be a no. The percentage increase matters more in my opinion than just the flat value increase.
As long as the cost of living doesn’t eat up the difference then yes, would definitely make the move.
Yes
Absolutely, in fact I’m packing right now!
Hell yes! Where shall I have my furniture shipped to?
That means Phoenix, which I like more anyway. Unfortunately the chance of me making another 100k up there is slim to none. SF or NYC might be a different story but it'd all be eaten up in taxes and rent.
I think the key point is the $100K increase. Anyone making between $25K and $100K would probably move in a heartbeat—going from $25K to $125K (a 5x jump) or from $100K to $200K (a 2x increase) is a game changer. My guess is that most people earning between $100K and $200K would also take the opportunity. It’s likely those already making over $200K who wouldn’t automatically make the move, as an extra $100K might not be as compelling for them.
Yes I would
Umm… absolutely yes!
No, give yourself at least 6 months before you pack up and move. Some companies will terminate you in the 1 st 6 months due to budget constraints or other factors. Make sure you plan on staying with the organization before you move.
yes, if the 100 miles area doesn't misplace older children (high school ages). Unless they are willing to jump in the pool with you
I’m ready to change continents lol
Absolutely
Lmao where do I sign up
