I’ve worked in sales for 12 years (8 years retail sales and management, 4 years inside tech sales and management). I’m feeling the burn and looking for something else in the tech field. I’m making $140k. I have a college degree but no marketing, engineering, or product experience. What other departments/jobs could I jump to and still keep close to my OTE? Hi All - I’m at a firm that has some infrequent in-house training but not enough to help me develop skills to eventually become a trial lawyer. I know cases rarely make it to trial anymore, but I’d like to develop my skills as much as possible to position myself well when they do. Does anyone have any mock trial programs they’ve participated in outside of their firms that they would recommend?

The death of my best friend in combat will forever haunt me, no matter how hard I want to accept it and let it go. I've been remembering every day since I came back. It's so hard to deal with this on my own.

There is a certain air of respect you get when you become a military professional. As long as you earn that respect, of course. But I like it, it feels good!

The feeling of avoiding mines buried on the gorund is one I carry at all times, and I remember the fear and the anxiety at every step. I still feel like this today, like every decision I make will lead to disaster.

What makes a good soldier in your opinion?

Take victories and defeats as equals! Nothing will teach young soldiers more than making mistakes in the heat of battle that almost cost you your life. If you're still breathing, there's something to learn. Listen to it.
