180k if the commute was an hour or less
Is the 180k going to require more work hours as well as the commute? 140k and remote doesn’t always equate to better work/life. You tend to work later/more when you’re remote because you don’t have the separation of home/office.
180k for sure
Flexible 2 days? How bad is the commute? Likely yes. 40k is a difference maker
Yeah depends on the commute
I would love if companies gave these kind of options because for me any days in office means relocating because my closest city is 1.5 hours away without traffic. But if I was within commuting distance the $180k for 2 days in office, no question
All things equal, depends on the commute.
If the 40K difference is ate up by transportation, childcare, pet care, etc, then no.
Depends on the position/role
$180k definitely
Mo’ money mo’ problems - Michael Scott
Assuming trajectory is the same. 180k. 40k is a lot of money at that income level
$180 if 30 mins mac commute
Wildly depends on a few things. 1/ Whats your cost to commute and be in office? 2/ how long is it on “average” and whats tour time worth 3/ for the fully remote is there a pull the rug out later and make you go in somewhere. Worst of both worlds. 4/ benefits matter. Are they equal? Pto. Days off. Flextime all matter
In office i would go.
