It's fair to ask, especially a few rounds in, "are there any aspects of my candidacy that you're still not sure about? I'd like the opportunity to address anything that may be unclear. " They may have hesitations that did not come through and I think asking for the chance to give more info on a gap they may perceive shows savvy.
Going to use that next time.
You can never “seal the deal” with an interview. All you can do is make sure your skills come across as strongly and accurately as possible. The fact that you made it through multiple rounds of interviews suggests you did that. There are so many factors totally out of your control that can tip the scales between getting an offer or not. Take your time and be disappointed about how this went, but there’s no point dwelling on what you should have done differently.
That's good to remember that there are a lot factors out of my control.

There's nothing you can do if it's one of those lame long ass process where you meet the extended family of 5 or more. It becomes a dumb popularity contest. At that point anyone who isn't a stakeholder or people you work directly with could cancel you.
Once I'm past the main stakeholders I report or work with, the rest is playing nice, empathizing with their roles and challenges, offer how I can help or give suggestions, and I'm upfront about asking them if they have any reservations or concerns about me.
Even then you literally can't please everyone.
I'd been canceled for something I tried to bring up in interviews knowing I have the relevant experience 'cept nobody wanted to even talk about it 🤔😂 I suspected then it was an excuse for not vibing with someone (who didn't even finish looking through my portfolio).
I guess it can be that way lol.
It really depends on you since you were the one interviewing! Reflecting on the interviews, is there anything you would change next time?
Some questions to ask yourself -
Did you notice a change in the way the company communicated with you after a certain point?
Did they mention anything that made you think you were/weren’t right for the job?
Did you reference the job description and company culture?
From my end, they seemed very excited to meet me and kept reiterating how much they loved my background. I made sure to tie in the job description + how I could fit into the company culture but not quite sure what happened.
Sometimes it’s just vibes ... happened to me a lot this last round. You’ll find your match and if you keep being honest about who you are, it’ll be the right one.
