Y’all any American Airlines challenges you can share..? In desperate need

Want to upgrade my flight on American Airlines to Africa this summer (part AA flight and British airlines). Since it’s a discounted flight would it be cheaper to try to upgrade 24 hours before flight or request to upgrade now and pay the points and copay (25k miles + $550 per ticket each way). Likely will upgrade going and not coming back

Any one fly Etihad recently? Terrible reviews on TripAdvisor but most people I spoke to before Covid found it ok.

Folks, I have approx. 39k in investments 52% is VOO & VTI 20.5% is individual stocks of MSFT, TSLA, Nike, Disney, and Delta 16% in QQQ 7% in VXUS 4.5% in other smaller ETFs like VYM, GLD, etc. One, what's your thoughts on this? Two, let's assume, I consistently put in 3k a month. How should I continue to invest/diversify? PS I also have approx. 25k in a HYSA because I'm thinking I'll buy a house in a couple of years. Considering that, should I keep more money in the HYSA?

Is there a difference between 250k salary and 400k salary? Both salaries are watching spiderman on opening night. Both salaries have food on the table and a roof over their heads. One has a 65in tv vs the other has 75in. One drives a BMW the other a Tesla. I make around 250k and to increase my salary I will have to work a lot more. Is it really worth having more money, at some point it is just a number and quality of life doesn't improve. In fact it could be worse with the extra hours.
