Hi all,
I’m looking to relocate to Seattle. Does anyone know if any of the Big 4 are still recruiting campus hires to start in Summer/Fall 2023? I’m open to either Audit or Tax, but I have internship experience in Tax.
I applied and received an offer at a Big 4 in San Francisco (campus hire), but I’ve decided Seattle is the better fit for me as it will be closer to my hometown and family in Vancouver.
Thanks!

It's not legal for him to ask for extra hours at no pay

That’s what I first thought as well but also thought I might’ve been overreacting
Regardless of where you work, if you want to be a superstar, you need to work more than the minimum required hours. If you just want a paycheck, then just tell your boss that.
Nothing in life is a guarantee but you do what makes sense to move ahead. E.g., a college degree doesn't guarantee a job but it opens doors.
You need to invest in yourself first before anyone else will invest in you. Looking for recognition for the sake of recognition is a horrible way to manage your career.
Put in the effort needed to make it to the level you want. I'm always going to take care of those that go the extra mile, all else being equal. It's okay to not want to put in the extra effort - but then, be satisfied with not being paid at the top and not getting the best opportunities. Do what works for your life at this time. You can always choose to do more (or less) in the future. Your career is what you make of it.

That’s a good way of putting it actually. Will the extra time and effort be noticed though?
