Do you share your salary with your coworkers? I got asked by a colleague what my salary was, but I was a little reluctant because I was sure I was making more and I didn't want to make things awkward. Turns out, he was making more than me. I guess these conversations need to be more normalized, but I'm not sure. What are your thoughts on salary transparency? Do you think it could negatively impact workplace dynamics, or could it lead to better dynamics?

I told a candidate to STFU today…

And they actually thanked me for it.

I’ll be the villain.
I’m a recruiter who believes in transparency.

So when a candidate today told me they’d accept less than the bottom of the pay range I just quoted them…

I took a breath. Then, in the nicest way possible, I told them:

"Never say that again. Ever."

Even if you crush the interview, negotiate hard, and prove you’re worth more, that lowball number will haunt you.

And so will I!!!!!

Don’t do it!
