Last year, I found a part-time job at a start-up that was posted with a salary range of 25-30K. I agree to get on a year-long contract at 25K. They were really happy I agreed to accept the lower end of the range as they are a start-up just setting up their fort. Today marks a year, and I feel like the work I've been doing and the growth I've contributed to the company is commendable. They plan to renew the contract at 28K but I think I can aim for 32. If you were me, would you ask for that?
