Although I'm fortunate (and beyond thankful!) to have help in some of these areas, I have friends and family who are working moms and get zero support from their partners. Even with help, it's a lot to keep up with. Any tips for talking the dads into stepping up in the home to help balance things out a bit?

Describe my career as a game? That's easy for me... I'd go with the Game of Life. College, different careers, marriage, kids... sums it up. Which game sounds like you?

I was reading about the "broken rung" and it's really frustrating to see qualified women passed over for leadership roles. Even though things have gotten better, I still feel like women get the short end of the stick when it comes to promotions and reviews.

Just curious to hear your insights. Climbing the ladder hasn't been easy for me, but so worth it to me. Made some tough decisions early on about sacrificing relationships and WLB, but I feel good about my choices. What’s the best career move you’ve ever made?

Going through menopause hasn't been as bad as I thought it would be, but it hasn't been easy either. From having hot flashes in the middle of meetings to breaking down in tears over nothing important, it's been a little crazy. How have you gotten through when you don't have many people to talk to about it?

I'm trying to lose about 15 pounds before the end of the year. I know it's ambitious thinking, with the holidays and all, but I'm going to try anyway. Just curious, has anyone tried the 90-30-50 diet? It sounds healthy and sustainable, unlike keto.

Fluently speaking another language or two is something I've always wanted to try, so I'm learning Italian through Babbel. It's taking forever, though! What are some other languages you have learned or would like to learn?

This is so true. My anxiety has been over the top for the past few months because of this election. I've turned off the TV, which helps a little, but still find it hard to avoid all media. What are you doing to tune out from the constant negative chatter?

What’s been the hardest part of finding a partner or friend who can match your energy and goals?

It's rather eye-opening when you realize that as much as you think you don't discriminate based on age, you probably do. I'm focusing on this more than ever since I lead a multi-generational staff who are all talented in different ways. How do you experience ageism personally?

I 100% agree with this. I have a Southern accent that I can usually hide... except when I get angry or excited. lol! Do you experience something like this as well?

I just saw this on LinkedIn, and can certainly relate. But I don't feel guilty about taking time off since I'm the work-hard/play-hard type. Do you agree their chart showing the percentages of senior levels who don't unplug is accurate?

I'm looking at workshop ideas for young leaders on my team and came across these for self-confidence. Does this type of event sound like a fun and useful investment to you?

I'm thankful to have a husband who loves to cook, and we pay for cleaning and lawn services. It's hard to believe how little has changed in 10 years, and how many women still do everything around the house and work long hours. Any superwomen in the group who can do it all, and how do you do it?
