One long, long, long day at a time.
I’m with you on this one! My husband and I share the load, and hiring services has been a game-changer. I honestly don’t know how women do it all without burning out!
I live alone and do everything myself. Well, there's no lawn to deal with, but I do the cleaning and laundry and cooking. It's not that big a deal really. I think most people make too much out of what they do, they make the simplest chores sound like training for the Olympics or something.
I am my own Superwoman if that counts. I work hard to enjoy a good support system of a cleaning lady (1×month) for deep cleaning since I pick up daily and clean on the regular; have services Like lawn care, yber, lyft to handle all other needs.
And I would like to Thank Me for it all. I put myself through university and earned my M.B.A. working multiple jobs and going to school. My parent weren't rich, lower middle class so if we wanted it, we had to go earn it ourselves. I travel internationally 3x a year and take weekend trips as much as I want.
This didn't happen overnight, I started enjoying the lifestyle I have now in my late 40s.
This is called resilience, perseverance and down right discipline.
