You’re an executive, so also assuming you’re not 25 anymore. You know this sounds too good to be true, right?
I used to try various diets as they came along and none of them really worked for me. What I finally settled on was obvious common sense, eat less and exercise more. If you walk for a half-hour a day to begin, and start practicing portion control, you'll lose weight. Having a goal for the next two months is probably not a good idea, just commit to following a better eating and exercise program and make it a part of your routine and you'll lose the weight in time. It's actually better to lose it slowly as there's less chance of it coming back.
No idea what the 90-30-50 diet is, but I have lost more than 35 pounds this year by really focusing on protein and fiber intake – particularly low fat and vegetarian sources of protein – cutting most sugar and more than a glass of wine or two a week, drinking more water, and strength training.
Generally, of course, the math is usually said to be that cutting 3500 cal a week would result in 1 pound lost – that’s obviously going to be different for different people, but if you want to do it sustainably, you probably don’t want to be too extreme in your approach, or it will pile back on.
I haven't heard of this plan yet. I did keto for a year and lost 30 pounds, but my cholesterol levels went up. Now I eat low-carb to maintain, but I'm not going overboard with it. No need to sacrifice good food for the holidays either!
I've never heard of this but maybe I need to try it because I have packed on a few pounds over the last few weeks.
