Now got released and again getting interviewed at the same? Anyone had similar experience? I had a very bad experience with that client company as a vendor and now I don't want to go back there. H1-B visa restamping timeline? (Brazil)

I literally just came back from the Visa restamping appointment to drop off my passport in São Paulo.

The secretary informed me that even though I am eligible for the interview waiver, they have no ETA as to when my passport will be returning to my residence in Brazil.

Signed an offer with another consulting firm. Linkedin recruiter got back to me for an interview with a role I’m interested in but the pay will be 10k less base and most likely a much lower TC. Been wanting to exit to tech but the other consulting firm seem ok. I feel like tech interviews are harder to come by. Should I just settle and decline the LinkedIn interview?

Interviewed for a firm that seems great and pays better than my current job, but one issue... they don’t offer 401k matching (my current firm does). All other benefits are the same though. I’m seriously considering leaving my current job for this new opportunity since it sounds like a great fit for me, I just don’t know how to handle the lack of 401k matching. About 6 months ago I applied for a team lead role and didn't get it. My boss, in recognition of my efforts (and maybe being a little scared that I'd quit) gave me a 13% raise, and minor promotion to get better clients. NOW I applied for another team lead role (2nd interview soon, wish me luck), if I get it, could withhold a raise from me? Or maybe short me on a raise because I already got a bump this year? I haven't had the convo yet, just trying to be prepared.

I just finished an interview and felt like I was gaslighted. I cried after I left the meeting and felt so humiliated. I work as a salaried employee for a large holding company under a team dedicated to one client. I have been here just under two years. I never work.
