Have others found it hard to transition from Audit to Financial Analyst? All the recruiters I’m meeting with are telling me I probably won’t get an interview since they’re looking for someone who’s ready to hit the ground running.
It’s discouraging because I’m a fast learner, and from talking to my friends who are Financial Analysts, it doesn’t seem like what we do is so dissimilar.

I am currently working as a PayPal AWF/CW in contractor's payroll for the past 3 months. I heard many got converted from AWF to FTE. So what is the process for FTE conversion? Should I clear some Interviews? Also how much would the salary increment be? On par with regular hiring? Any minimum time limit of being in AWF before FTE conversion?

Pretty new here! Great news ..JOB offer …however the company is lowballing salary ..I informed recruiter Amount was not acceptable …sent off the salary requirement letter …. I got interviewed at infosys two days back.
When can I expect to hear back from them.
Also all the questions that were asked to me were written coding questions(Write block of code) none were verbal.I could write all answers but none was 100% correct.

At last I asked the interviewer about feedback as in where was I wrong. He said at couple of places and he explained me where was I wrong.

So something crazy happened to me last week. I was at the airport, and as usual on call after call. The check in line was going ridiculously slowly and at some point turned threw my hands up in frustration while looking around to find another place to check in. In doing so, I catch the eye of the behind me. He smiles and says something. I just sort of nod and carry on with my call. My company contracts a web developer, we have a set amount of hours for the quarter and pay over if more work is needed.
He never gets anything done. Doesn’t answer emails half the time. The one thing he’s done was take out a blurb that threatened our eligibility for patent renewal.
We have another company taking over in January, but I still have some pretty important dev needs until then and I can’t get him to do a thing. I truly try to give him all he needs.

Hello, I was in a verbally abusive college relationship and struggled with mental health. Therefore, my gpa suffered greatly (2.9). However, I now have a good job and am doing very well. Should I explain the reason for my low GPA in my MBA app? I’m applying to LBS, Booth, Stanford, UCLA, UCB etc.
