Hello! Question — a partnership just exploded in growth and went from $3M last year in revenues to $22M. This year they could do over $50M. It’s not considered a syndicate (no limited partners). From a cash standpoint they are at a loss, but from accrual are profitable. I warned they could possibly have to change to accrual taxpayer next yr if they go over the $26M annual gross receipts test (for avg 3 of years). A CPA disagrees & says only pships w/ c-Corp partners or syndicates have to change.
