I 485 question - I do not have any vaccination record from my home town. It is a small village. I am thinking of getting the required vaccination here in US. Will insurance cover my vaccination?

Comforting others:
When someone tells me bad news regarding their health, I say everything I am supposed to say (I’m sorry to hear that, I’m here for you, etc) EXCEPT “everything is going to be ok”. Because I can’t guarantee that and I really don’t know if everything is going to be ok. I was taken aback recently when a friend told me I am calloused and cold-hearted for not being able to say those words. Is she right? Well this is gonna be long post.
Working at hybrid model of IT company and PSU company. My employer IT company lost bid and now the contract is of another company. We have been asked that contract over as on 31.7.2022 and we are supposed to go and sit at company office. It's a loss of pay for 100 people on project. Our company said we can't join new bidder company because we signed agreement on offer letter that we won't be joining client for atleast a year. It's inconvenient and crazy for us.

Recently started a part-time gig as a Computer Specialist, FT job is in public safety/law enforcement. Working on certs, no degree - Basically I’m looking for recommendations in the Civil Service or government field for IT jobs. My current job has be doing everything from ordering, installing, and imaging computers, to video surveillance installation, to security systems, and managing our networks at local stores. I love my PT job, and want to do it FT. But insurance and pay don’t come close.

I've become really jaded about consulting. I find all so often you need to tell the client what they want to hear to keep their business and I feel like so much of the what I recommend doesn't actually get implemented. I'm looking to make a career switch so I can both create and execute on my strategies. A product management path seems very promising for this.

Hi all,

I interviewed with capgemini for SAP ABAP role and my YOE is 4 years. Just 2 hours after my interview, I got a call from someone at Capgemini saying that I am selected.
They just asked my notice period and current location.I asked them, what is the next round going to be and they said that it is going to be salary discussion. But till now, no one has reached out to me.
Does it mean they got another candidate for same job?
If they get back to me, how much should I ask?
Current - 9.9
