Anyone have situational depression? Can’t stop beating myself up over a decision a year ago. Basically missed out on a massive amount of money. I know this seems trite and i never even cared thatt much about money before this year.

So many other good things happened to me this year - got married, got a puppy, moved etc, and yet the one thing i keep returning to is this decision as though i ruined my life. Ironically the only thing ruining my life is my outlook and yet i just can’t stop.

Got a temp offer for less than a year without promise of turning into full-time. Wanted to know what ppl think about temp jobs (looks bad on resume if I don't turn full-time later within the company?) and what comp should look like (e.g. 1.2× of regular comp?).

Got another perm offer in a different industry for similar salary, but I might have to relocate and I'm concerned the work may involve translation instead of pure legal work.

I’ve reached a point in my career where I want to take a step back and do an easy job just for the medical insurance benefits. Any ideas what I could do (or who is hiring)? Would contracts manager/admin/specialist be an easy job?

I’m so grumpy about new campus hires. Sometimes I’m judgmental (your hobby is “working on your golf swing,” really?). Sometimes I’m just exhausted by the worried earnestness. Should I stay in downtown Palm Springs? An outlying resort? Any other day trips? Female solo traveler. Also debated flying from SD to Santa Barbara instead of Palm Springs. Just want to be outside and enjoy good food, wine, scenery, hiking, relaxation.
