Best consulting firms to work for in Hartford CT area?

PPEDs: Just found out that a Partner, who was promoted in 2017, was fired. IDK the circumstances. What can they expect to walk away with besides 401k & normal pension plan?

Currently at Big 4. Have offers for a PL/Principal at MBB and for a VP role at a Fortune 20 company. The VP role is more interesting and comp a bit better but I’m told would accelerate faster at MBB. The initial plan was to end up at MBB. What’s the best for future flexibility?

I always bill 100% of my time and for my entire career in public accounting I have never heard anything negative until recently.. I was told to watch my time as the client doesn’t like to pay these fees, and the partner is unhappy because it looks like I have high hours. Is the message that I should eat my time? I’ve been hooking up with a guy off and on for a little over 4 years (met right after a break up) and early on set the boundary that it’s just sex. Recently told a friend abt him (we were out she wanted to know who I was texting/who was picking me up) & now she’s trying to convince me that I’m just in denial (and so is he) of having feelings for each other. He’s a good guy, has his life together, and we have fun, but I don’t get why the arrangement we have is a problem/needs to be changed??

My supervisor has been including me in WFO roster since August, but neither did I go to office nor I cancelled the roster.
I didn't received call from the supervisor or the HR also to come to office.
