Has anyone just filmsupply for pitches?
Going in-house full-time ✌🏻
I have a question, fellow bowlaz! I work in a small advertising agency in Oslo, Norway, and we struggle to get in contact with international ad media such as Adweek (Ad Freak) and Ad Age whenever we want to show off our creative work. Does anyone of you have a way in, or tips on how we can get in contact with media outlets like these? Cheers

3 days in office is not bad. i would take the money.
Office. Your career will greatly benefit and it’ll compound to become even more money in the future, because you’ll do better work, get more raises etc
How far is the commute? Are you chained to your desk for the full eight hours? Or can you jam if you're done for the day?
IMO, the perfect combo (short commute, an honesty policy, and less work hours) would be worth the extra $30k for me.
Thanks for sharing your opinion. It's a little over an hour each way. If it were shorter, the extra money would feel like a much easier decision for me.
Hybrid. Better money. Better relationships. Better future opportunities. Plus there’s leftover pizza in the break room.
Get the best of both worlds (remote life + political benefits of the office)
Ask for 2 days in office for $120K
*$125k. Let them talk OP down to 120 if that’s an option. It would suck to ask for 120 when they may accept 125
I’ll take the remote one if you’re passing on it 🙌🏿
If you don’t take the remote one, pass it on :)
As someone who is a self proclaimed “never going back into an office”-er, $30k would definitely be persuasive.
If the client seems promising with some awesome opportunities for work, I'd probably come in for 130k. If it's just kind of run of the mill and barely gonna give you anything for the book, I might take the 100k. That's also just speaking with my lifestyle in mind. 100k already would probably go a long way for me and I already am remote, so I'd probably be okay with that.
go into the office ti build connections. make an effort. it’s the only way.
30k is a number most people would actually feel. worth the commute in most scenarios unless you have to actually move for it
I’d be tempted to take the money. But the client and CD/ECDs i’m working with matter a lot. I’ve taken the money in the past and it has hurt me.
It ultimately depends on what you care about in your work environment + how you like to work. Some people really do love the option to leave the home and being in an office from time to time. Vice versa with those who love to be remote. What matters is what can you sustain longevity wise.
Also, what perks can you get depending on your choice. Maybe you ca negotiate a few things to work on your favor based on your option. There is really no wrong choice to make.
