16 year LEO veteran here. After spending most of my career in patrol, I'm headed to our school resource section in 2 weeks. I'm looking for ideas anyone may have for programs or activities I could do as an SRD. I saw where one SRO started a "golden donut" award where each month, a student or faculty member who did something that contributed to the school's safety was recognized. It could have been something like noticing a perimeter door that was unsecured or helping a fellow student who was going through a mental health crisis. Any SRD/SRO ideas or comments would be most appreciated.
