I’ve been poor my entire life and on my own since I was 16. I worked really hard to get to a managment position in a statewide foundation. I’m in a lot of debt from putting myself through college and I feel like no matter how hard I work I can’t get ahead. I think because I’m poor I often ended up getting underpaid because the salaries sounds like a lot of money to me.
