Just got an offer at LinkedIn and am thinking about how to negotiate the offer. Coming from 3+ years consulting experience:
The role is associate level in business productivity - business transformation
Base: 124k
Bonus: 10%
RSU: 100k (my understanding is over 4yrs, but not expressly stated by the recruiter)
Currently my base is higher but no RSU, so having trouble comparing

Be careful. Investor relations is very administrative. Try to get an investment role.
Talking to LPs, etc
Fund return calls, monitoring capital calls, likely of this nature

If it’s a large firm such as Blackstone, may be worth it, but avoid this role at smaller firms.
Don’t get swindled
It’ll likely end up being 50-50-0 man investment team will look down upon you (unfairly) and you’ll do bullshit work or none at all unless it’s a really established rotational program at a big shop
The former analysts would be your best bet
