Rate my offer for a business valuations associate role at a boutique firm in Toronto:
- $90k + ~7.5% annual performance bonus
- $5k in clawback reimbursement

How does contract to hire work? If I’m offered $37/hr on w2 for 3 months and then possibly a permanent position, how much can I expect to get annually as a full time company employee as a BI data analyst II? I have a M.S. and certificates in DA but this will be my first job as DA.
I prefer working for what is offered on contract without negotiating, and then negotiate when I transition into the company itself so I have a better chance of getting the contract position and show my skills.

My technical interview was on 19th Feb and received HR called me on 22nd feb for salary discussion but again on 22nd Feb 2nd HR called to have managerial round which was scheduled on 25th Feb and again got mail to submit CIS form. After submitting form didn't get any call from HR. Its been 8 days. Is i am ghosted?

Boomer. I am in between jobs. Laid off in 10/21 after 16+ yrs, with an ABA firm. RIF. Still on excellent terms. Took my time living off generous package and didn’t seriously start applying until 01/22. Made a rookie mistake and accepted first offer.
Turns out job wasn’t as advertised. Mutual parting of ways 3/22. Due diligence is critical.
Now interviewing a LOT. Some temp work, I still have “it”. I relate to all gens. Willing to mentor AND learn from all. Tech savvy, CTE from day one. Leads?

I feel burnt out by how ruthless the tech industry in US is, but I also know I’m making much more money than people outside of tech or consulting.

I’m so burnt out that I wish I could yell at people who were not kind or supportive to me, but those people often unfortunately were in position of power.

Currently an associate at a V30 and negotiating a partnership position at another V30. What is the correct way to maximize the pay in the negotiation as a lateral partner? Hi all! I recently accepted a remote/hybrid RN position to try something new. Majority of my experience is at bedside. The pay is less than bedside (as a traveler), but more than a staff nurse. Are there any RN’s that left bedside for a remote position that can give advice on the work/life balance? What pros and cons do you encounter?
