The role is associate level in business productivity - business transformation
Base: 124k
Bonus: 10%

I’ve worked at AT&T as a sales consultant for 6 years and 8 months where we prospect, uncover, and close on leads. I’ve used Salesforce for the past 4 years during my tenure. I’ve done B2B sales where I’ve received awards for it for 2 years consecutively. Loads of troubleshooting, uncovering needs through consultative styled selling, and tech app subscriptions.
I was wondering if I have the necessary skills to transition into a tech sales role. If so, what would be the best role/fit for me?Amazon Salesforce Google @

Enterprise BDR positions, some SDR and BDR positions pay generally $70-$110k OTE. You could also shoot for AE positions which start at $120k-$150k OTE. This is in SaaS

What industry are you in? Tech sales would be a great way to increase your salary
Look at some SaaS companies manufacturing verticals. That's generally where the EV companies will sit. Your domain experience and understanding challenges of the customer would definitely be intriguing and get you a bite somewhere.

You’ll probably have to start as an SDR unless you have extensive experience in a particular vertical. SDRs can pull in 85+ though at the right spots. Compgauge is another resource to view sales salaries as well.
To be an account executive you usually have to have B2B experience....if you want to get your feet wet in tech SDRs are in high demand..pay is around 40-60k base but you get OTE based on your performance which can vary between 20-40k...usually all you need is a bachelor's degree for SDR...but I do health insurance and there's money there too but it's a hustle because you have to find your own clients to be successful BUT when you are independent you get mailbox money as long as your clients are your clients year after year and you also make your own hours..Medical sales reps get paid good too and usually you just need a bachelor's degree. You can also be an entry level recruiter as they make around 50k base and they get commission.
Newbie here, what is SDR?

I disagree with folks who say you need b2b experience.
If you can listen well and speak clearly, you can learn to sell at the enterprise level. Fast.
However, Somewhere along the line you get to learn to sell. I recommend a sales course like this one. https://www.ravestrategystudio.com/enrollment
Comission only is usually a red flag for me- need some kind of investment in you from the company.
