Hey fishes
A friend of mine has recently received an offer from Mastek. His only(primary) concern before joining any organization is the job security that comes with it. I would therefore like to know to what extent is one's job secure at Mastek? Thanks in advance...

Do you actually not understand or is this rhetorical? Because there’s a pretty obvious explanation if you are asking in good faith.
Identification is required for employment. In this case civic employment - the city of NYC hiring temporary workers as snow shovelers. I'm sure the right wing "make it make sense" crowd would be a-okay if they learned the city of NYC was paying undocumented, potentially illegal immigrants with taxpayer $. We all know how that would go. And if the right really cared about both election integrity AND free and fair elections, state issued IDs should be free to procure. Because if you have to pay to get an ID to vote, that means it's a poll tax. So why not support that? Require ID, but make that (non driver license, non passport) ID free at no cost to the individual. The right to vote should never be means tested.

Hahaha
There's no point in debating voter ID with the left, they have no real points about it and want to make sure they can keep stacking ballots.
the point is why can’t we just use a drivers license. government issued id. I don’t wnna hear any BS about this. also if it’s true that women who changed their last name can’t vote that’s shit.
and if the right only allows a passport that’s fine all these gay idiot people who don’t travel are probably backwood mississippi folk.

I’m from Singapore and am confused on this issue - have seen the news on the SAVE Act, which is contentious.
ChatGPT & Gemini have informed me that certain states don’t require you to present ID to vote - they say you would just give your name at the designated polling location and sign the form. Is this true?
Again, I’m from Singapore and here we have to show our national ID card (NRIC) to vote, so it’s shocking to me if what ChatGPT & Gemini are saying is true.

I have never voted in person in my life. I’ve voted via some form of mail-in ballot for 30 years.
