Realistically it is possible for him to try and stage a coup. He has 70M fanatics that will support him. And a while campaign infrastructure to coordinate his efforrs.

At that point it would be a pretty hairy deal to oppose him. A high ranking officer near the white house taking charge might be able to stop it. If not the situation could become incredibly tense.
