A colleague of mine told me that on her day off she was looking at the notifications on her phone from teams to see how busy we were. Do you know anyone who does this? Do you get it? Because I feel like it's so unhealthy. I didn't express that to her though, I am sure she wouldn't appreciate it.

That strikes me as something I might do just out of curiosity, wondering what kind of day I was missing. I wouldn't necessarily think it's unhealthy. I suppose it could be unhealthy if it was a regular practice, like a stalkerish obsession or something. But just randomly glancing at notifications doesn't seem like a big deal.

I think it is 100% no problem. If you are a supervisor and you are checking in on your team, because if you're off for one day or a week, when you get back, you're going to have to deal with whatever has been going on. So it might be a good idea to have a heads-up.

I get why people do it, but I agree it is not healthy. I try to fully disconnect on days off to protect my energy.

I'm trying to figure out how to pivot out of my current job. My department is in utter chaos, which has just become completely unmanageable. I'm looking for front-end web design work, and work from home. I am a strong designer and basically set up landing pages for large companies on a proprietary CMS in our company. If anyone knows of places I could apply? I'm not trying to reinvent myself as I do artwork on the side and would rather grow that business and get out of the chaos of fortune 500.

Hello Guys,

I joined
Cognizant recently, the project interview calls which I am getting is not from my base location.
I have the location constraint, should I wait for the right opportunity or raise this concern to ADP team so they can look in to it?

As per ADP policy, one should not have any constraints and take the project as FCFS basis.

Recently accepted a temp role as an HR admin for a former employer. Previously interned there & left because my supervisor did not have any growth opportunities planned out for me; this was in spite of my stellar performance, as reflected in my 90 day review. She has since left the company, but there’s crazy turnover in the company & in the HR department in particular. Just that an HR coordinator resigned. Is it worth going back into a dumpster fire w/ no leadership to gain experience?

Has anyone left healthcare and is now really happy? I’m an MSN, RN with 12 years hospital experience. I’m burned out and tired of making crap pay. I have an opportunity outside of healthcare that would pay more and challenge me in new ways that I haven’t experienced before. It’s a total shift that would really heal my work-life balance, job satisfaction and budget. My only fear is that I would not be using the license and degree that I worked so hard for.
