A couple of weeks ago, I interviewed twice with an amazing company over 3 days, and really clicked with everyone. HR asked for references to continue the process, so I sent 3 people who'd agreed to be references and let them know to expect emails. HR just called today because none of them has responded, even though it's been a week. I haven't had something this promising in months, and I'm terrified they're going to sabotage this opportunity for me. Should I be worried?

I have been interviewing at a company that I have wanted to work at since I was in undergrad. The issue is that they can’t offer me much more than I’m currently making, but they focus on family and making it affordable to have kids (I’m currently pregnant.) Yes, they know.

Is it worth the change in jobs for a little tiny pay increase (or same wage) but WAY better maternity leave and benefits? I currently only get 4 weeks paid at my current job for maternity leave w/ crappy insurance.

- Georgetown's part-time program (ranked #1 in US, 3yrs): Graduate with 200K in debt
- Application already submitted, results by end of Feb

- George Mason's part-time program (ranked #4 in US, 4yrs): Graduate with 20K in debt (with the possibility of it being $0 debt)
- Application not yet submitted, but thinking about applying ED to a program that offers full tuition scholarship. Deadline: Mid-Jan

From the personal experience..if u r attending amazon interviews..pls discuss abt the package and the band prior to interview schedule.. or else it s jus a waste of time... band 4, 5 or whatever should be in the Jd.. don't go with verbal communication... thy ll change the plate quite often

RANT: People re-writing a cw’s stuff has always been painful. These days it’s far more common than when I started. It’d be one thing if they upgraded the work. If I learned from it. If I genuinely seethed with envy over their wit w/that perfectly placed semi-colon. People can’t re-art direct stuff bc they don’t know the programs so they ask the ADs for changes. Word and a keyboard made everyone think they can write. Which they can’t. Google Slides is Google slip ‘n slide into (bad ref. here.)

Planning a 10-12 day trip late April / early May. We are looking to spend 3-4 days in a region of Italy and we can’t decide between Cinque Terre and the Amalfi coast. Im leaning towards KPMG... both would be right out of college, entry level.
