A day after my interview, the hiring manager responded to my thank you email. Is this common or could it be a decent sign?

I'm an Indian holding bachelor's degree in electrical and electronics engineering from India and master of international marketing degree from a United States. Overall, I have 7+ years of work experience in sales and marketing. IELTS 6.5 now I wish to migrate into Canada with the PR. Since lot of candidates are in the pool, sadly it would take me nearly 12 to 18 months to get my Canadian PR. Can some one give me leads of job opening which is available back there in Canada to start my career.

Can someone explain how PTO works in house? I have only ever worked at a firm, starting my first in house position end of this month. I’m used to just blocking off time on my calendar if I have an appointment (like the rare occasion I have a dental appointment, well child checkup, etc) and then going. Do I really need to take PTO for these things? I’ll be working remotely 3-4 days a week for reference and I’m talking about days when I’m remote.

After the first I heard back quickly to schedule the second. Now after the second it’s been a little over week with no follow up on next interview. Is it too early to send a follow-up? Hi fishies 🐠 I’m an Art Director that’s trying to transition over to UX Design. I have experience building websites and some previous freelance work doing some UI/UX. What’s the best route to transition over and would I need to apply for entry level roles? Does an AD role with a UI/UX focus even exist? On my CV I have a section listed as “Education” and under it I have “Business Studies” with the university name and the 3 years that I attended the course (2.5 to be exact). I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

I’m a financial advisor with jpmorgan and i verbally accepted a new job in private banking with another firm. This is my first time transferring licenses. Should i wait to give my two weeks notice until my new firms hr department clears me and gives me a start date or as soon as i sign the offer letter?

If i haven’t signed anything with my firm regarding repaying them for receiving my series 7 license with them I’m assuming i owe nothing if i leave? Is there a way to find out without my manager knowing I’m looking at other firms?
