Ya’ll take ya vitamins today?
Wow. McKinsey, which has the biggest public sector presence of the MBB, really hasn't been doing too hot at all in the sector.
Its presence is tiny and it's gotten even smaller. Meanwhile it's bungling whatever opportunities it's getting.

Hi Guys,
I have joined Ofss 1 week back and on second day itself I was allocated to project and onboarding WIP I received mail stating to report back to office 3 days per week under hybrid work model policy. Is this compulsory my base location is 2600 km from my current location as I am joining the citi project its seems difficult for me to grasp things though I have only 1 yr of prior exp by I think my team is expecting a lot so moving to new city and learning at same time is not possible .

Received an offer as Engagement Director from Salesforce (CSG, pre sales, L9). Great benefits package, 40% increase in total comp and better WLB.
I do love the people in my practice and current client, but career trajectory has stalled after taking parental leave earlier this year and (yet another) change in leadership.
Realistically, making to Director is 2-3 years away and will require sacrificing time with my family that I am not prepared to give up.
Should I stay or should I go?

A2 from the link you posted.
the available data indicate that COVID-19-associated hospitalization and death is uncommon in children.
At this time, it still appears that severe illness due to COVID-19 is rare among children
Goes on to say 3% of cases were children and a fraction of a percent of child cases resulted in death. Sorry, i don’t recognize the need for draconian lockdowns based on those numbers.
Are the death rates amongst the vaccinated still going up? My fear is that a new variant comes up and the current vaccines are not effective against it
I have less concern over people being unable to taste but more concern around the more severe outcomes - increased risk of stroke, heart attacks, etc. Addressing these issues is cost prohibitive for many Americans and ultimately it will be taxpayers picking up the tab for ER and ICU services.
Public health literature repeatedly demonstrates prevention provides a significant ROI for every dollar spent. We aren't lacking scientific evidence - it's all there. ^ based on an academic background on the subject, though I don't currently work in public health.

Tbh, once you get the vaccine I think it’s fair to live your life unless if there’s a new variant that the vaccine is ineffective against. I go out and live my life now but wear masks, sanitize and all that. Just seeing my family and friends. Still avoiding big parties and concerts but did book one for end of year so hopefully it gets better by then
yikes!
