If you have one phone and some legal issue arises, you can wind up having your personal phone subpoenaed. The chance of that happening is not great, but just considering scenarios like that is enough to make me want to keep things separate.

That's actually a great perspective that I did not think of. Thank you!
I prefer the separation. It does feel like a lot to juggle at first, but I got used to it. Now I’ll go out of my way to get a cheap work phone if they do not provide me one.

I totally get it. Once you’re used to the separation, it’s hard to go back. Having that clear boundary just feels better.

My work phone is an app on my laptop, so I still get the benefit of turning everything off at the end of the day. That said, I did put teams onto and old iPhone of mine so that I can have a bit more flexibility. Carrying two phones is no biggie because I don’t really use my personal phone during the workday. At the end of the day; the second phone goes on DND and is closed into my desk drawer.

That actually sounds like the perfect setup l. You get the separation but without the hassle, and I like the drawer move at the end of the day!

The separation is much better. Sadly, my work got rid of our work phone program.

Ah, that’s a bummer. Would it work for you to get a cheap phone just for work?
