A recent Gallup poll found that at least 50% of employees in the US are quietly quitting. They follow the rules & finish work projects by the deadline, but no extra work or overtime.

Taking this approach allows for more jobs, but it takes away from the possibility of a promotion.

If you had a choice, which option would you take? Quiet quitter & more than 1 job or search out extra work and promotions with 1 job?

Deciding on a career path

I feel like my brain works like a consultant, and I would enjoy consulting, but I also looove all things finance & investing. While I don’t necessarily have extensive experience in the field (most of what I know is self taught, my major is accounting), I want to get involved in it somehow and learn more.

I currently work in audit, I’m not sure what exit opportunities are an option for me for the investing/finance industry. Feel like chances are are slim. Any advice?
