Are they an internal or external recruiter? If external, I would just reach back out and tell them that you’d like to adjust your statement based on the provided salary range - it’s in their interest to get you as high a salary as possible.
If internal, I would wait and see if you get through a couple of rounds of interviews - take detailed notes about the role/expectations, and leverage that to justify the increase in salary expectations. In my experience, HR writes these job descriptions and the actual expectations of the role can differ and the “increased scope” of the role can support the higher ask

I have been in the position a couple of times where I have adjusted my estimate after learning more about the scope of the position. It won't be unusual for them.
