A role opened up in my group that would be a clear step up, but taking it would mean much less hands-on research and a lot more coordination. The title makes sense for where I’m headed, but the day to day looks less like the work I actually enjoy. Did anyone take a move like that and feel good about it later?

So can I accept the offer from first company and then if second one also sends an offer then let the first company know I would like to reject? Also i am on H1B visa. Can anyone give me their honest opinion on working at Eli Lilly, the Indy site? I have a few coworkers that have worked there in the past but no one recently. I’m currently being recruited pretty seriously for a in-vivo technician position in the auto-immune team, but I already have a job lined up at Envigo as a small animal sx tech.
